My name is Emma, and I moved to Canada from England at 18 in 1987.

Embracing my new life with humour, I have made many friends and found

resilience in challenges. As a Personal Support Worker at Headwaters

Health Centre, I bring empathy and kindness to my work.

Why take a certification in a nail course?

My love for high-quality pedicures inspired me to master the art and provide exceptional care that enhances your appearance and confidence. Sanitation is crucial!  I observed staff at other salons reuse tools without proper disinfection, not cleaning the pedicure stations between clients and not disinfecting the pedicure bowls. This can lead to potential health risks like foot fungus, athlete's foot, warts, MRSA, and hepatitis, to mention a few. Additionally, unexpected charges after services have been added and me me feel uncomfortable.

 

As a nail technician, I have gained valuable insights and appreciate your feedback, which has aided my growth. At Nail'd.It!, we prioritize a calm, unrushed experience and pride ourselves on a relaxing one-on-one time with easy online booking.  We do not book back-to-back, which allows us to properly sanitize our stations after EVERY client.
