Most nail products (especially gels, acrylics, acrygel and polygel (and some glues) contain acrylate, monomers, methacrylates and other chemicals that can trigger contact dermatitis or more serious reactions. These allergies can develop over time even if you have used the same product for months oryears with not issues. Symptoms may produce itchy, red or blistered skin around the nails (especially side walls or cuticles) peeling skin on fingers or palms, burning or heat sensation during curing and watery eyes. These are not just irratants they can become chronic allergic reactions if exposure continues. At Nail'd.It! we do ask you are diabetic, take any serious medicatons that we need to be aware of or have had an adverse reaction to nail products.

For all of our clients, a pedicure or manicure is a relaxing beauty routine, although what most people do not realize is that this simple service, if done without proper hygiene and sanitation, can cause serious infections and long-term health issues.

Single Use or Disposable Items
We sanitize your chair after every use
Provided are disposable nails, files, buffers and foot scrubbers for each client.
Clean and Disinfect Every Tool and Surface
We use a hospital-grade disinfection, such as Prevention Disinfectants, to clean and disinfect tools and workstations, and high-touch areas between each client
We follow manufacturers' guidelines to disinfect our tubs after each use (and we use recyclable hard liners that do not let contaminated water back into the filters or pipes)
Keeping Hands and Gloves Clean
We wash and sanitize our hands with soap and water before every client.
We wear gloves when performing treatments that involve direct skin contact
Client Awareness & Communication
If we notice a visible wart, cold sore or infection, we would politely ask you to reschedule your service to prevent cross-contamination
We do encourage our clients to disclose any active infections before treatment.
Enforce a Strict Infection Control Policy
We are trained on hygiene best practices and property disinfection protocols (as a trained and working PSW, our Infection Control Policy is paramount)
We display our infection Prevention Guidelines and courses taken, which are visible in our salon.
